Blackbird was founded during the Great Recession. We saw only opportunity in a time when fear and uncertainty were soaring. From this crumbling foundation, we were able to build a real estate investment company that has thrived through full cycles of real estate markets.

 

Poised now to sustain current opportunities, but most importantly we keep an aerial view of long market cycles. Being born out of the ashes of the sharpest US real estate decline of our lifetime has provided insight that can not be taught nor learned from charts. When the time comes to roll up our sleeves and do the dirty work for massive returns, we'll be ready. Our experience is ingrained in the firm and is a foundation of our investment strategy and market forecasting.
